The US auto makers, Ford, has already launched the small car Ford Figo in the Indian Market and had plans to bring in more compact vehicles into the country. The company is now planning the launch of the Ford Focus in India. This has been in the offering 2003 onwards when insiders within the company had talked about this possibility. The Focus that has been planned for India will have a sedan type body.
Ford Focus Models:The number of models that Ford will bring to India has still not been disclosed but the car is available in four variants in the overseas market: S, SE, SLE & SES.
