Hyundai, India's second largest car manufacturer was first launched in 1998. While this model has been discontinued in other markets, where the car is replaced by the i10, in India, the Xing is placed in a class lower than the i10. The company also introduced a diesel variant of this model, as they wanted to increase their customer base.
Both the diesel and petrol variant of the Hyundai Santro Xing are similar in terms of design. The new version boasts of a V shaped grille, which features head lamps that are rectangular in shape.
