It was a Motor Show at Geneva held in the year 2007 that saw the first unveiling of the Nissan Evalia MUV. The car maker from Japan positioned the car as both a passenger as well as a cargo carrier. Nissan had a negligible presence in the market for small vans and the auto manufacturer addressed this problem by launching the Evalia MUV. Recognizing the potential of India as a market for this type of vehicle, Nissan is bringing in the Evalia MUV into the Indian auto market within a very short time.
