Renault Modus is a mini multipurpose vehicle developed and designed by Renault, a French automaker in Valladolid, Spain since September 2004. The production version of Modus is quite similar to the concept version of same name that was showcased in 2004 at Geneva Auto Show. The Modus is fundamentally a higher variant of Clio and shares much of its powerplant range and platform with latest incarnation with Clio. First sold as higher range option to Clio and Twingo, the Modus is targeted at those who require the versatility and practicality of bigger Renault Scenic. The backseats of Modus are situated on sliding rails with 4 preset positions.
