Ever since Toyota presented them in India, there were always speculations that they would bring in their much loved and praised Toyota Prius across to the Indian shores. Finally in 2010, the company brought in their green crusader, the Toyota Prius to India. It is more of a niche product as of now since there are not too many Prius to be seen around on the roads. The reason may be its high sticker price of Rs 27 lakhs. Belying the fact that it is very expensive, there are many good things in the Prius. The Prius has been designed to be as aerodynamic as possible. It carries Toyota’s corporate design theme. Even the wheels are low rolling resistance ones.
