Audi History –
The history of Audi is really interesting which included several stories. With the help of their logo, company symbolizes four – formerly independent makers of vehicles such as DKW, Horch, and Wanderer. Each ring which is included in the logo represents them.
On 14 November, 1899, this company was established by the August Horch.
In the year 1910, the first model which was launched under this brand was the Audi Type A 10 / 22 hp Sport Phaeton in Zwickau. In its entire history, this company had only single recall which was generated due to the unintended acceleration problem.
But, from the year 2002, sales of the company again grew because numbers of buyers are increasing from 653,000 to 1,003,000. After recall, company had done several modifications. Audi Union was the first range of this brand which became the first European vehicle that combined with the front – wheel drive and 6 – cylinder engine.
From 1990, this manufacturer was competing with several other automotive brands like BMW and Mercedes – Benz. To start this rivalry, Audi launched the range of Audi V8.
