Bugatti Today –

Bugatti is owned by Volkswagen Group. These automobiles are popular for their unique design and for their innovative engineering. Seven times Formula One racing champion, Michael Schumacher owned the Bugatti EB110. The administration offices are shifted to the Chateau Saint Jean.

Today, Molsheim production plant has around 1200 workers to manufacture the classic Bugatti models. For Super Sport model, Bugatti recently achieved 2011 Top Gear Award. Bugatti is also an inseparable part of Formula One.

List of most successful Bugatti cars include SuperSport Veyron 16.4, Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport, 2010 Bugatti 16C Galibier, 2010 Dark Royal Blue, Bugatti Veyron Nocturne, Bleu Centenaire, Grand Sport Sang Bleu, and Veyron Grand Sport Carbon Grey etc. this list also include The Type 35 Grand Prix cars ‘Royale’, the Type 55 sports cars, and the Type 57 ‘Atlantic’. Bugatti has highly successful in the racing history.

Bugatti History –

In the year 1909, Bugatti was founded by the famous maker of super fast high end limited edition cars, Ettore Bugatti in Molsheim, France.

The 1924 Bugatti Type 35 was considered as the most successful racing car because it won approximately 2,000 titles.

During 1930, Ettore Bugatti was involved with the production of racer airplane. In fact, this leading manufacturer was also famous for its successful range of Autorail, the motorized railcar.

Due to serious financial crisis, Bugatti launched its last range in the year 1950.

In 1960, company was bought off for its business of airplane parts.

After the death of Ettore Bugatti’s son, Jean and due to World War II, company lost their Molsheim property. Later on, Bugatti established the new production plant at Levallois, Paris and manufactured various series of new models. Company had huge expectation from the Type 251 mid – engine race car.

But, it was not able to gain its previous reputation. In 1987, Buggati was acquired by Romano Artioli, famous Italian entrepreneur and then launched, Bugatti Automobili Spa. The range of Bugatti EB110 GT was the first completed vehicle and company advertised this range as the most technically advanced sports vehicle.

When this company closed, the Bugatti America project was in the pipeline. Under the marque of this brand, Volkswagen AG owned the rights for the production of cars in the year 1998.

At the Geneva Auto Show, company unveiled the concept of Bugatti EB 218 in the year 1999 and in the same year, Bugatti launched the new range of Bugatti 18/3 Chiron. The Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron was introduced as the first incarnation of production road vehicle. Bugatti manufactured the concept of airplane engine exclusively for American and French government. The 29/30 model was the first automotive which was powered by 8 – cylinders.

In 2002, the company singed up as the contract of partnership of the Stars & Stripes along with skipper Dennis Conner Cup of America. In this same year, this leading auto maker created a foundation at Molsheim for the Buggati Atelier. At the famous Paris Auto Salon 2002, it introduced the 47 chassis model. During this year, Veyron 16.4 entered first time in the automotive market of USA.

In 2003, Dr. Karl Heinz Neumann was awarded with Innovation AvD Prize. In October 2003, Bugatti Veyron 16.4 was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show and in this same month, Dr. Thomas became the new boss of this brand. Its official website achieved the 2003 Golden Ottocar award.

In January 2004, the studio of bugatti which was located in the Molsheim was come to an end. In the month of February, this maker showed its range at the 74^th International Automotive Show. In September 2004, this manufacturer ran the International Rally and during 2004 November, the company launched its Italian Bugatti Club.

In 2005, Bugatti awarded with Car of The Year in London and in January 2005, Veyron 16.4 first time entered in Austria.

In 2006, the Bugatti Veyron hits Sterling 1.1 Milo at London auction.

In 2007, Automotives S.A.S. of Bugatti offered Extended Warranty period and in the month of October, the company was ready to capture the Russian automobile market. Bugatti launched its Veyron market in Hong Kong. In September 2007, new website was launched for this brand. On 13^th March 2007, Dr. Ing. Paefgen was appointed as the new Bugatti president.

In 2008, the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport was launched under this brand and in April, it entered in the Chinese vehicle market. In August 2008, Bugatti donated approximately $900,000 to a foundation charity of the Pebble Beach Company.

In 2009, this brand unveiled its concept of 4 – door in Molsheim and in March 2009, Bugatti sold ‘Bleu Centenaire at the Geneva Auto Show.

In 2010, Wolfgang Durheimer declared as the new Bugatti boss. In March 2010, two unique range of this brand displayed at Geneva International Automotive Show. At VW Group Night, Bugatti disclosed the concept of 16C Galibier.
