Mahindra Bolero is a multi utility vehicle developed, designed and engineered for carrying 7 to 10 passengers. It is offered in non-AC and AC versions and is one of the most popular vehicles in India. With its plush interiors, brand new engine and aggressive design, the all-new Bolero is an exciting new avatar of the highest selling sport utility vehicle of India. The eye-catching design of Bolero makes its classic looks more impressive and are sure to leave other drivers speechless wherever you go. The Bolero is considered to be one of the most rugged vehicles in the market and also fuel efficient and environmentally friendly. Claimed to be the sturdiest of utility vehicles and most rugged, it has a recent makeover.
As a part of redesign, the Mahindra Bolero is one of the biggest selling vehicles of the company in India. Enhancements include new honeycomb shaped mesh grille, chrome inserts at the center and new wider and sturdy front bumpers. The all-new Bolero offers plenty of enhancements inside as well; including the newly and ergonomically designed leather covered steering column and new digital instrument cluster. Besides the feel and look, you will also find the most significant change beneath the hood. Motivation for the Bolero comes from an m2DiCR 2.5 litre engine, which is good for pulsating 46.3kW of power with 195 newton meters of torque.
The Mahindra Bolero Plus continues with the same engines and looks. Powering the Mahindra Bolero Plus and Mahindra Bolero DI is a 2523cc DI Turbodiesel engine with maximum output of 63 horsepower at 3200 rpm with 180 newton meters of torque at 1440-1500 RPM. It offers comfortable seating capacity for up to 10 passengers. It is a basic utility vehicle, which is well suited to the roads of India. Even though it’s based on a decades’ old platform, the high ground clearance of Bolero makes it easier to drive on rural roads of India. Featuring a 2500cc diesel engine, it has become the vehicle of choice for rural populace. The interior is designed for paved roads as well as hilly terrain and untarred roads. Its vague steering, non-adjustable seats, four-speaker Kenwood or Sony audio system and basic AC all contribute to a crude, agricultural driving and less than exciting experience.
The m2DiCR engine of Mahindra Bolero fuses the advantages of both the reliable DI Engine along with contemporary common rail technology. The powerplant achieves a perfect balance between fuel consumption and power, providing you the chance to cover more ground every time you set out to explore. And with low vibration, harshness and noise, it doesn’t go against the environment while providing optimum power and gets state-of-the-art technology for preventing theft. With the new encrypted key recognition system, the ECU rejects any duplicate keys used to start this car.
The Mahindra Bolero sport utility vehicle SUV has an aerodynamic and robust appearance. It’s offered in attractive metallic colors and the exterior has been primed with dynamic CED process to make sure rust resistance to the optimum level. The interior has been artistically designed and engineered with matching seats and attractive trims. The automaker has offered a four-speaker Kenwood music system, powerful AC, comfortable antisubmarine seats and power steering for providing maximum comfort to its passengers. Other features include armrest in the middle row, special space to place magazines or bottles and maps and a 12V charging point with mobile holder. Be it the city or the open country, the new Mahindra Bolero ensures you are having a good time every time you drive.
